You guys are amazing. I was told that emotion takes precedent over intellect 99 percent of the time, and I sure couldn't argue the point after reading this string of comments.

People, no one wants something like this to happen to a beloved pet. The men who did it are thieves and obviously not too smart. They have been indicted. That is as it should be.

But before you condemn their culture, take a look around. We are mammals. We eat other beings. We kill them and we eat them. We are a mouth and an anus with maybe, once in a great while, a brain thrown in. And you are no exception.

The vast majority of you eat pigs and piglets, cows and calves, sheep and little lambs: animals that have been farmed for food. And you seem quite convinced that it would have okay, had the men in question eaten one of those guys instead of dog.

Go visit a slaughterhouse. Go visit an industrial farm.
Then come back and tell us whose culture is more humane.

It is very easy to post hateful comments. It is not easy to understand cause and effect. It is not easy to educate people or change their belief systems, or to change the way businesses are run.

Cruelty is everywhere. If you truly want to change things, start with your own behavior. Lashing out at other cultures and telling people to go back where they came from accomplishes nothing. Get away from the hysteria and the xenophobia and work toward some positive solutions. It's the only way you'll make a difference.
