This is a very sad issue that the US has right now. Stray Rescue of St.Louis has a program called "ANF- Abandoned, Not Forgotten". We have also seen that 50% of our returns are from people who have to move into apartments. At one time we had 40 ANF dogs and 6 returns, all within 2 weeks.

I can not be mad at the people return the dogs to us, but the ANF dogs... I wish we could find them and charge them with animal neglect. Also fine them and give it to the group that takes the dog in to find them new homes. Read Less
