Last night I met my friend Jo and Todd's three-legged cat. He is gray and his name is Tripod. He makes a lot of noise as he hobbles around, but he gets around very well. He jumps up on the bed and runs around the house very easily. My friends found him on the side of the road. I am glad I have nice friends that like to help animals in need! read more

Puppy Mill Bust Creates Frenzy at Local Shelter

It is true that there would not be puppy mills if there was no demand for pure breeds.....I don't understand why people who are just looking for a family pet feel like it would be better to have a pure bred dog.
