I too purchased a dog from a pet store when I went in to buy fish food. My sweety, Mandy who is now 16 yrs old, was 6 months old, a mixed breed, and could barely stand in her cage. She could barely walk. I did alot of research on this pet store after purchasing Mandy for 150.00, and went to the city and expressed my concerns along with all my info... and had her shut down! Oh what a good feeling that was. I also came upon a fact that she had a dead puppy in a cage, and would not touch it-she was waiting for her husband to come and rid of this poor baby. So I to understand your situation. But the remainder of my household...are all from a rescue shelter, or were given to me before they made it to the shelter. Mandy is my oldest of six. Read Less
