I had gotten statistics from our Animal services that STAGGERED me. I don't have the numbers right in front of me, but if memory serves me right, it was something like 75-85% of the animals were unable to find homes. What really bothers me is that someone has the hard decision of what animal might be adoptable, or too old or what ever. It would be a wonderful thing if the HSNC was able to have more kennels, more room, more.... The numbers should NOT be that high. There has to be a better way. A great start will be to have the Humane Society of the Nature Coast win. With the winnings they will be able to help more people and animals unite! Read less
