Coming from a puppy mill state, it just amazes me how many people perceive animals as nothing more than commodities... It's sad, sickening and wrong.

If it's done in fun & to raise money for, say, a shelter or rescue. Great.
If it's just a person with too much money & too little sense, I have some suggestions as to where they can put that cash to good use. :)

Stick to rescuing dogs, cats and other domestic animals in need of good homes.
Why give money to someone breeding/trapping/selling/exploiting exotic wild animals that don't need to be here anyway.
