Studies have shown that children and adults who torture and abuse animals, go on to do the same, and worse, to other humans. With this in mind, one can only wonder what kind of nation we have become where we condone this kind of behavior within our communities, through puppy mills, and even force our shelters to euthanize animals. We must all take a stand to protect those pets who have commited no wrong other than being the product of over breeding. America has fallen from its once highly regarded position and we need a leader who will lift us from the quagmire of disrespect and disregard that we have for animals. If we continue to torture animals, we will continue to torture humans. Our leaders need to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves!
