Yikes... the point is that when you adopt an animal, you expect that they would be courteous to you... not the case. I adopted an animal in July and had to pay to get her spayed. When I got her home, I could tell she was already spayed- and I'm not a vet that goes and gives the animals checks at Animal Control. I took the dog to the vet anyhow, and after giving her the anesthesia, it was discovered that yes, she was already spayed. I called Animal Control about this and they were VERY rude... and, they literally sat on our paperwork for a month and a half before processing it so that we could get a refund. Also, I had made three calls about a neglected, chained dog in my neighborhood and Animal Control did not respond until I told them I had also reported it to the police three times. Read Less
