Description: Rusty is a beautiful Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. He lives a Indiana Horse Rescue, where I volunteer. He first came to the rescue in 2004 because he was going blind. Even though Rusty is blind, it doesn't seem to bother him. He is very trusting and loves all people. He spends most of his time with my other horse, Mira, who also came from Indiana Horse Rescue. Rusty is a very special horse and I could not ask for a better friend. I always turn to him when I am upset, just holding his neck always makes me feel better. I think it is because he kind of "hugs" me back.
