Oscar's Details
Type: Reptile | Breed: Tortoise / SulcataTortoise | Born: Oct, 1997
Pet War Standings: 238 wins | 95 losses | rank: 347
Description:
Oscar came to the rescue when someone found him in the dumpster at a tranfer site. Hence the name oscar. Although he's not a grouch. Oscar has some classic showing of pyramiding on his shell. Pyramiding is due to a calicum lack. Since he was found at in the dumpster we are not sure what his history is or how old he is. Sulcata tortoises can live to be 100 + and get to be over a hundred pounds. They are the 3rd largest tortoise. Thier main diet consist of grasses. But here in Alaska we don't have grass all year long. So Oscar gets to have cactus fruit, ocasianal red leaf lettuce, bok choy and a collection of other veggies/fruits. He loves anything that is the color red. Even rose petals.
