While our shelter, the Voorhees Animal Orphange, did not win the big enchelada, the entire ZooToo experience has taught me a lot. First, my fellow AO volunteers are the most amazing people I've ever known. Their dedication to the animals and their willingness to give of themselves is both humbling and inspiring. I've also learned that there are thousands of other great volunteers associated with hundreds of shelters dedicated to improving the lives of all types of animals, and that we are all in this together. While we all have to "fight" for the same limited resources, we are stronger together than apart. Finallly, I've learned from each of the finalists about what we can do to improve the lives of animals and, in turn, our own lives. Thanks to everyone from every shelter that participated for what your do day after day and thanks to ZooToo for giving us a voice. Read Less
