I know and love that feeling as well. I have 4 horses and I Love them all to death. My horse is a 15.2hh Bay Foundation Quarter Horse mare named Lexi. My first horse was an arabian but sadly she had to be put down 2 years ago due to cancer. Now I ride either Lexi, Chico (a morgan pony gelding), my moms QH Tupie and sometimes my dads horse Xena. But I completely agree with you with how galloping is just an amazing feeling. My horse loves to search pockets for food or just to be nosey. I find it amusing how human like she can be at times... have fun riding when you can
