Wow, that's horrible. Coat color shouldn't be a huge factor, personality and compatibility should. I have a main coon mix who came in a litter with a buff colored cat and two other main coon kittens and the buff colored cat was adopted first, even though I thought that his temperament was a bit timid and under-active for a kitten. Smudge adopted me, we just filled out the adoption papers. The two other kittens weren't adopted for at least a few months, I don't know if they ever even were. What you say is true. Read Less
