If we could also get the government to realize that if they were to offer free spay and neutering, the amount of animals that end up in government shelters would drop. It costs more money to take care of an animal in a government shelter, than a spay or a neuter. We would actualy save money and that savings could go into maintaining those shelters. I wish someone would do a study and look at the actual numbers. Maybe this could be added to the petition, as a way of reducing the number of euthanasias. Read Less
