Usually at Universityies there is an e\thics sommittee that oversees experimentation and since it's veterinary and not just an animal research center, I think there's a good chnace they will do what's in animals' best interests on the whole. Of course, there have been examples of egregiously harmful human research as well, but it should be no worse than a human university hospital, I would hope. Read Less
