Yes, I understand they have the pets interests at heart but my point is, if you have a history of pet adoption, have a vet already lined up who is willing to wrtie a note on your record of bringing all your pets for yearly check ups, etc. and notes that you have the spay/neuter scheduled, they should be flexible. I expected to pay $100-$200 for everything to get Lily but to have an additional $500 expense that was not necessary is putting a financial burden on a responsible pet owner. I would have to think twice about adopting if this happened again. Read Less
