I've always had a vision of shared housing- an elderly person with a big house who needs some help but not full-time care, and is lonely- and younger folks who need housing and can provide companionship. Can you advertise to find a house-share, with rent exchanged for light duties? For some elderly folks, just having others in the house would contribute enough- for security, to drive off loneliness- that it would be worth a lot to fill up an empty house. Read less
