We had some really pleasant days where it would cool off at night. But, today was much warmer and they aren't predicting much of a cooling overnight. This e-mail has been circulating for several years. But, according to snopes, it isn't really accurate. In the past, the person signing it has supposedly been from the either the Texas Cattleman's Association or a Canadian Cattle organization, although both have said they had nothing to do with it. According to snopes, McDonald's imports beef from New Zealand and Australia where the regulations are more stringent than the U.S. McDonald's has said they need to import because they cannot find enough American beef that meets their standards for leanness.
