Silk had a swollen eye this mroning I think she ended up getting something in it when she coliced 3 weeks ago. She is now on eye medicine and it looks a whole lot better than it did. She is such a good girl! read more

Silk is recovering very well from her near death experience of 2 weeks ago. She looks great, bright eyed, but a tad thin, she still has a big brood mare belly that will never go away. But her coat looks good and she seems very happy. read more

Took lots of videos of Silk today! After the scare we had a couple of weeks ago I am going to be taking a lot of pictures of her. I really do love her and think she is an awesome mare! read more

Had classes today and they were really boring. I came home and gave Silk a bath and she really needed it. I think tomorrow I am going to help wash the horses at the rescue. They need it too! read more
