It saddens me to know how many black dogs are euthanized in shelters. They are passed over because of their color. I grew up with a black dog and most recently lost a black dog to bad hips. He was 11+ years old and I miss him so badly. Please, consider a black dog when you are looking to adopt. I hope to start a black dog rescue in the near future.
