I am a volunteer at Fallen Timber Animal Shelter. At first I was concerned that we are not a no kill shelter. Then, I read an article about a dog that had been injured and had no hope of recovery. The owner wanted to spare the dog the agony and have it put to sleep. The local shelter would not do it. The man had no choice but to do it himself. He ran the dog over with his truck to put him out of his misery. Sad but true. Read Less
