When I first moved to Dubuque and was looking for a place to live, I was shown a house for rent where the current residents had a huge pet snake in a very aquarium - it was slithering up toward the top as if it wanted out. Gave me the willies. Snakes are not allowed as pets in this city and yet these people had a huge one with a very young child. Read less
