I never thought about a "for profit shelter" on how they made their money. I know at a school here where I live the kids had studies on a dead cat. They had like a 12 of them. I did not ask any questions because I thought it was discusting. I had heard of frogs and octopusses and such but never a cat. But I guess Vet schools have to use some too. Just gross but I guess in some cases nessesary.
I just wish all shelters did their best to adopt out the adoptable pets. And yes, I wish there was a law for spaying and nuetering your pets!
