I've seen stray dogs come in to a shelter in shock, angry and biting. But, with a care and love, the dogs calm down, and become friendly. If you were violently attacked and you didn't exactly know from who, you probably are not going to be very friendly to anyone right away either. I do not think this pup should be put down.
