For an organization that is constantly witness to animal neglect and abuse, its members are not bogged down by the cruelty brought upon the animals they bring in. They're not trying to pawn these animals off to the first person that comes knocking, and if for some reason the adoption isn't a good fit, they bring the animal back into the organization so that he or she has another opportunity to find its forever family. I still change the litter box just as often, but I notice the smell is contained for quite a long time.
