I have been a volunteer for Pets Without Parents for almost a year now, And this Organization has done so much to help out all the animals of Mason and Logan Counties. I love working with them. I clean the shelter on the weekends, I participate in all fund raisers that we have. I also transport dogs and cats to other rescue groups in Chicago. I love my job working with Pets Without Parents Since I have worked with them I am now looking into going to be a Veterinarian.
I really hope that we win this makeover though. Our shelter needs alot of work, We do our best to keep the shelter as clean as we can but our shelter is so small. If we do win I hope that we can build a bigger and better shelter to better serve the animals. There are so many animals that need our help due to owners who can't take care of them after they get them. People don't realize how much work goes into owning an animal. I treat my dogs as one of my own children they deserve that much.
They werent asked to be born into this world. But they were and now we have to take care of them. They can't take care of themselves.
We really need a new shelter to try and make the lives of these animals better until we can find homes for them all. Read Less
