3/15/08 - we had to put Spootie to sleep today. She has been battling health issues for years (thyroid) and she was now in kidney failure and very weak. She's in a much better place now - probably chasing St. Francis to bite his ankles. I decided to keep this page as a tribute to Spootie.... I know she's in a better place, but I miss her terribly.
