Ok it is to my understanding that the shelter is there to find dogs good homes, but you have to give it back if things dont work out. I recently adopted a dog from the society and i feel that if i couldnt have taken care of him properly I would have given him back to the shelter but if I were to give him away I wouldnt give him to someone I didnt think would have taken proper care of him. Ellen is clearly a well-known and respected animal lover and I honestly dont think she would put the dog in the hands of someone who would not take the best care of the very adorable dog. Read Less
