Bunnies rule! All my buns are rooting for Midwest to win the MILLION. Regular shelters generallyl do a terrible job with bunnies, so it's incredibly important to have the all-rabbit shelters like Midwest. Rabbits are the third most abandoned pet, but unless there's a pure rabbit shelter or rescue group among the winners, rabbits get no real representation. Thank goodness Midwest made it to the top 20. Because of the failure of regular shelters to provide adequate shelter for rabbits, it is very important that Midwest at least win the second prize ($10,000). Read less
