Description: Rusty had been shot five times when we first saw him. The sheriff had called the Humane Society and wanted to see if we thought we could save him. Rusty spent five weeks at the vet. He was shot in each front leg (he lost his left leg), through the mouth, two shots in the body, and one through his head (he lost the vision in one eye). Since that terrible July day in 2001 life has been great for Rusty. Good food, lots of love and plenty of other pets in his pack.
