When I fostered and later adopted an old dog that got car sick, I was told to give him ginger when he went in the car. I am going to get these capsules (never knew they made them). I was also told that anything ginger - candy or cookies - would help.

My vet told me that it could cause problems similar to cortisone on the long term. I have just been giving the Temeril-P for a few days when my dog has flare-ups. I also use Benedryl periodically for flair-ups. Make sure you vet runs cultures for the skin conditions. My dog had a bacterial infection under his legs and under his tail. There is special shampoo that you need for a bacerial infection. If you use the shampoo, give them a fish oil capsule twice a day and use the Benedryl and Temeril-P on an as needed bases, I bet you will be very suprised at the results. Also, watch your dogs when you do begin using the Atopicia. I noticed a definiate attitude change - almost a depression in my dog. Good Luck!! Read Less
