What an amazing day that was!!! Organizations coming together in the community to help the shelter and local families (and animal lovers) donating food. I do think we have won in that the community is more aware of the shelter. It's so sad how some people only think purebred dogs or cats are good pets. Shelter dogs and cats are quite amazing and it is sad that some of them end up in our shelter. It would be really great if our shelter could have bigger faucilities to house the animals. We are a no-kill shelter (which is a great thing) but there is just no space for animals at times and it's sad to think what might happen to these wonderful animals. The makeover could really help us out. Read Less
