Thanks for all the advice. I hope the blankets fit into my washer, I will try. I bet they would in a front loader, but I am not lucky enough to have one of those. We have the WeatherBetas and they are expensive so want them to last. I sprayed them down with the hose but did not think of using the attachment with the soap inside, that is such a good idea. It does not get too cold here in Texas, sometimes in the 30's but the horses still like to be warm. One horse, the blind mare does shiver alot so we keep a heavy blanket on her. Don't you hate it when they roll in the blankets and get them all muddy and messy? lol. I will wash them up this weekend. I never heard of taking them to the car wash either. lol. Someone suggested the dry cleaners, but I bet that would cost alot. Thanks again. Read less
