K9 Dedication

Attended the K9 dedication today. It was very moving and hit a chord with my husband as one of the veterans was in the military (Vietnam War) the same time he was. I agree with Bonnie - very well said. Everyone that has gotten involved has grown by being involved with the shelter and the many friends they have. I believe that should we not be chosen, we will go on and make the Humane Society of Nature Coast the best shelter that we can with all the community awareness. Many more people will step up and get involved. I can't tell you how much I love being involved with the shelter and how much I enjoy just stopping by to see the dogs, cat cottage and the new friends that I have made. It is a so rewarding to be a part of this initiative. Read less
