I'm delighted to read topcat's blog of his visit to Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Rehome. Angela L. and I are associated with a small private rescue and it tears (rhymes with wears) us up when we have no space to accept (more) rabbits on death Row. What did an innocent bunny do that would label him/her as "disposable, get rid of ..." Off to the euthanization room. That's where Midwest will reach out and save as many as they can ~ to transition to forever homes. To ultimately feel a human's kind touch and caring actions.
