Hi: I am VP of the Potsdam Humane Society, Inc., located in Potsdam, NY. We have a small shelter that takes care of dogs, cats and various other animals. the shelter tried longer hours summer of 2008 and had very few people take advantage of them - as with any not-for-profit organization they have to watch every penny. The longer hours on Friday evenings were discontinued in September.
