life on the home front

Its been awile since Ive wrote an entry. Things have settled pretty well at our house. Tillie is still daily in my thoughts, but I am no longer crying. I now think of her with smiles and laughter. Molly is continuing to gain wieght. She has enough hair now that she is shedding her winter coat. I dont think I have ever been so happy to clean up dog hair. Scooby is settled in nicely. A great sadness decends on our house

There is a darkness in our house that will only fade with time. It was with heavy hearts that we made the desicion to have Tillie put to sleep. Her seizures had gotten worse. Her meds were making her into a drunken zombie. The vet and myself were worried if we upped her meds anymore we would crash her liver. He thinks we could have been dealing with a brain tumor. Tillie is now forever seizure and drug free. She was laid to rest on our farm with another beloved pet that passed from old age years… read more

Well it has been a month and we are still seizure free. She is doing so good. Tillie is doing good enough that we will be starting school the begining of next month read more

We are still seizure free. Thanks to everyone that gave support. i was falling apart over this and with lots of support from good friends and a great vet we got through it. Now if we can just get through learning manners. read more

Tillie still seizure free

Well it has now been 2 1/2 days and we are still seizure free. YEAH!!!! Keeping our fingers crossed that maybe this combo of meds. will work like it should and they will stay down to one every couple of weeks at most. read more
