How snug it should be depends on the type of harness it is. Asking the help of a trainer is probably the best way to go. Pet store employees are very helpful but not always that knowledgeable. read more

I so know how your heart aches. I lost my Happy girl in november of last year she was 15 and her lungs gave out but then 4 months later I lost my Abbey she was only 6 and was always healthy but she stopped eating and after a lot of tests the vet had to open her up and she had a tumor that couldnt be removed blocking her food from going to her stomach and it was cancer there was nothing they could do. So in 4 months time we lost both our babies and still today I cry for them both, your right it is like someone ripping your heart out. But just remember you let her into your home, you let her into your heart now you must let her into your memories. And cry when you need to cry... Read less
