As a staff member of Cat Welfare for the past seven years, my life has been consumed by helping the shelter and its residents. When I joined zootoo, we were in the top 50 with very few supporters. However, I just decided to make it a personal goal to really start pushing to be in at least the top 20 spot. Shortly after, more and more people became involved and it started looking possible. I am still in awe that we made it and thank everyone that helped. I also thank you for giving us this contest and pulling our shelter and the community even closer together. It was donated to us by Studio 35 movie theater--fish and all--and the cats were more than excited when I set it up late one night at Cat Welfare about 3 weeks ago.
