This is something very near and dear to my heart as well as many other Americans. I think the topic should be debated for it is as major of a crisis as other things that are debated that are not so life threatening. I know Bill and Hillary had Sox the cat and Buddy the lab not sure about the others having pets. I'm sure the candidates have love for animals. If we could get Presidential candidates attention and views maybe local officials will open their eyes as well for ignoring the issue that has plagued this country has gone over looked far too long.
