Non-domesticated animals belong in their NATURAL habitats although I do believe that zoos and other types of rehab facilities are extremely benefical to the study of exotic animals and wildlife - as long as the facilities are run by skilled individuals knowlegeable in this type of specialty care.
Also: I think it's also important to more adequately define the term "exotic" b/c there are some animal companions (such as ferrets and various species of other rodents, reptiles, and birds) that have been safely domesticated. It's the large, predatory animals that should be of greatest concern due to the danger and threat they pose to humans. Read Less
