It is raining today. a nice, steady rain, no downpour. My little dogs don't want to go outside! "I'd much rather pee on the hamper, Ma!" I have to carry them, one by one, outside and then watch them run through (the fenced in) yard to the various doghouses, where they then hide. I would build a fenced porch on top of my porch so the cats could go outside through the window. All the dogs would get smoked bones and somebody to sit and watch over them while they chew on them. read more

We have a feral cat group that traps, spays and neuters and then re releases. There is a person responsible for each"dump-site" and that person makes sure there is food, shelter and clean water. The effort has been successful, we are able to trap newcomers and, if they are tame, adopt them to loving homes. Instead of having hundreds of sick cats at a dumpster, we have a few, and they are healthy and looked after. Dee Read less
