I have found that reading the labels on their food is just as important as reading the labels on the groceries we buy for our families. Sometimes we learn the hard way.

I used one on my german shepherd and it never fazed him. I did feel guilty as people would stare as if I were cruel but could'nt they see the collar was not working. Of course I always checked to see if any marks were there from cuts or irrittation. None visible and no progress so it was not used much and quickly disposed of mostly becasue of guilt because of it's appearance. I would never use it on a non agressive dog . It certainly is not for pulling dogs but to be used for out of control agression toward other dogs. Happy news is that he mellowed on his own and is the love of my life, always was and always will be. Read Less
My dog also ignored this and I thought I was doing a great thing by buying one because trainers and people told me that dogs love'em. Even with the peanut butter inside there was not any interest.
My dog loves pedigree, matter of fact all of the dogs I have ever had loved it. It's fun to choose the different flavors. I add more mixed vegetables to mine. My dog loves loves table food and unsalted vegetables are ok to given them
