Oh how heart rending! We have a black pomeranian, Emma, who just turned two. She is smart, well trained and just a charm. She intervenes when our cats get in trouble and is a real friend. I have never been so attached to an animal and I am over 40. Two weeks ago she got real sick, and last week she started having seizures. We have spent $2000 including an MRI and Spinal Tap to learn she has a spinal condition and an abnormal upper vertabrae which presses againt her brain tissue. We have some medicines, but we know her life will be short now, hopefully a few more years... but we don't know. Read less
