Police Chief Farmer
stopped by my house this evening campaigning for re-election next week. We were pleased that he came to our ZooToo event Mr. Thompson. So I thanked Chief Farmer for his interest and help that he has given HSCC. It's nice to have elected officials recognize our efforts to help the abandoned and abused animals in our area. read more

Yes, it is amazing the wide spectrum of political, moral and social beliefs of our group. Yet, amazing all that we can and have accomplished because of our love and compassion for our four-legged friends.
I realize that there are several members that I don't know if they are married, have children, what they do for a living, besides not knowing their religion or politics and actually it doesn't matter. I'm more interested what kind of dog they have or how many cats and what the names of their pets are. That's what we have in common and can build friendships on that. Read less
