I love to be around animals. I spend time playing with my puppy because he is hyper and my cat and i sit down and read a good book. I am always involved with my animals and I love it that way.

Luke is a 8 month old golden retriever mix. He is very fluffy and was rescued at 5 months old from a couple and 2 kids who were abusing him. If anyone can help i was wondering how to train a dog to let people in the house and to listen to you when he was abused for so long. I would love it if someone could give me some advice on what to do? read more

This is true when animal can't help themselves we need people to take care of them. I know what he is talking about because i volunteer for him. We get a lot of animals and don't have the money or resorces to make the shelter what we would like it to be. I have heard his ideas for the shelter and they are wonderful ideas. I only hope that we can get people to help and to raise money so that he can persue these thoughts for the animals that we take care of. These animals are sweet and didn't deserve to be treated the way that they did. We would love to get some more help so that everyone in the shelter can help him persue his dream for the shelter.
