Feral dogs pose a real threat to humans. When I was young I lived in a small town and people dumped unwanted pets all the time. Some we were able to tame. At least one had to be shot before it injured a child. With these large packs of rabid dogs drastic measures must be taken. However, strychnine seems to be a particularly tortuous and unreliable way to handle the problem. Read Less
