I also believe that the way individuals treat animals reflects on the character and type of people they will ultimately be. There are proven cases that murderers have started off by sacrficing animals when they were children. Animals and the treatement of animals is an important issue that can be EASILY addressed with the correct people in place and the proper laws that mandate severe penalties and basic requirements. I realize there are more important things going on in the world (war, recession, etc) but this is a simple fix that requires some monies,but mainly the efforts, time, patience, and understanding of people. There has been much in the news lately about the mistreatment of animals, let's change that perception. Read Less
