Description: Shivers was the first dog at LHS to truly touch my heart. She came to us in the worst of circumstances and is on the road to finding her forever home. Martha Candy Patches rescue took her on February 8, 2009. I will miss seeing her smiley face and happy tail at LHS, but I want the absolute best for her! She is being adopted by the family that fostered her! Woo Hoo!

Today Shivers went to a foster home. I'm glad to say that the rescue that took her is Martha Candy Patches, a great rescue here in Jersey City/Hoboken that has made countless efforts to give dogs a second chance at life outside of the shelter.
