This has to be the cleanest animal shelter in the world. It doesn't smell at all, despite the fact that we all know that animals do their 'business' outside and, if they are scared, inside. I have volunteered there and it is so nice to walk in and see such clean kennels. Susan, the vet tech and kennel manager, does a fantastic job, with the support of Tasha and Jacque to care for the animals! I am so proud of the staff of this shelter and the great work they do. Don't forget the work of Marty Poe, Sr., who does such an extraodinary job of keeping this shelter clean, safe and well-run. Marty Sr. is a true gem, and an animal lover, who uses his skills as a building manager and contractor to create a safe environment for all the animals. Thanks so much for what the staff does.
